  • The map on the Elan is $169 while the map on the Revo III is $269, so while it is only $100 more you could buy 3 elans for less than the price of 2 Revo III's

  • Why is the elan discontinued???

  • @traxonwax haha I said uplighting in reference to pointing the REVO III up at the ceiling. Almost 3 years later and 40 effect lights later and still the elan and revo iii are still being used.

  • its the only way to get it to stop moving. I use only chauvet lights and they are all led. I have them looped together through each other and just plug my lights in when i want them on. Best way to go if you are looking to have it quiet during a dinner hour.....

  • hi i have just braught 2 of these and there brillant im just having trouble with one of them the motor keeps turning when there is no sound and there is no dip switches turned on and i cant seem to stop it unless if i turn the sound dial all the way down is it a faulty unit or is there something i can do?

  • The Elan has 224 LEDs and the Revo III has 392! $100 difference in price. It comes down to one's budget, both are great fixtures!

  • I like the Elan and it did me well, and then I got the REVO III and that just blew the elan out of the water. I'll still use the elan on the floor and use the REVO III as uplighting.

  • is it true you can't strobe and move at same time? it's either you have it strobing OR moving, that's what I've heard and is my stop to buy it, cause I like lights that are independent, where you don't need to be changing what they do, I WANT TO KNOW IF IT'S TRUE, other way I'll buy one or 2.

  • i cant agree on that one i think it shows the effect to be a good one and it shows the size of the enclosure

  • worst commercial ever.
