An awesome performance from a night network TV session in 87', The Messiahs were more than just a Balls out Rock n'Roll band, They had a lot of dark humour and beefheartian creativity, Bill Carters off the wall stage presence saw to that !, not forgetting the Fantastic rhythm section of Kenny Harris on Drums and Chris Thompson Bass, they were truly a life changing experience for some, how can you not rate this !! 8o) got any swaps ?

  • Bill Carter, The answer to the eternal question "What would Charles Barkley look like if he was a white guy.

  • @stairbridgehouse I had just moved down to Manchester for work and was at that gig too - it just kind of fizzled out. It was the Totally Religious tour in November 89 and the place was empty and i had flu. I was pissed off that I never saw them at their peak but I dont recall them ever playing in Scotland. Great band, great sound, great energy.

  • I Live in Kenny Harris's Auld Hoose.

  • Dancing on top of broken tables to the Screaming Blues Fayetteville Arkansas 1987 me n Jelve !!!

  • I watched a documentary about "Dr. Feelgood". I wonder if Bill Carter and Wilko share a similar style.

  • Kenny Harris still meets Chris Thompson socially, but Bill is as mad as a box of frogs in his own way.

  • Chris Thompson bass player with SBM is gigging and recording with his band KILLER B’S.

Album out now on track records!

Find them on Facebook and Myspace.

  • These guys were brilliant, thanks for posting this!

  • Band was 20 years ahead of there time. One of the best that ever touched the stage!

  • I remember when they came out, Stereo Magazine said that SBM would put ZZ Top in the easy listening bin. Too bad they aren't still kickin!
