Humberto Piaguaje, representing the Secoya Indigenous People, and Guillermo Grefa, of the Kichwa tribe, both attended Chevron's Annual Stockholders meeting on April 25, 2007, to inform Chevron investors and upper management of the devastating health and environmental impacts that continue to ravage the land and people, due to ChevronTexaco's oil operations in the Ecuadorian Amazon region.

From 1964 until 1992, CHEVRON, the U.S. corporation dumped in excess of 18.5 billion gallons of acutely toxic "produced water" into more than 650 open and unlined pits, as well as directly into the swamps, streams and rivers that make up the Amazon rainforest of north-eastern Ecuador. Chevron should be charge on GENOCIDE!

That's right! Big oil does it again. Thanks to mr. bush.. The ecuadorian gov. should take control of all Its' natural resources and especially oil in order to better serve its' citizens.

Chevron Corporation chews up and spits out countries and blocks indigenous democractic government movements and accompanying religious freedoms by supporting corrupted and barbaric military juntas.
