"Var är du?" was originally written for Sax and AudioVideoTrack and premiered in Torino 2008 by Jörgen Pettersson.
The piece is opened to be transcribed (as always I would prefer "translated") on any other instrument or ensemble.
YamadaGaku translated the piece for Electric Guitar, in a great work of analysis and deep comprehension of the music. Since the first sample I had of his work, my agreement was almost full and we started working together on musical things and intentions.

Dove sei, immaginiamo i passi e i passi stessi ti seguono. Noi suoniamo tutto, anche i passi che seguono, e colpi sul legno riscaldano le corde e i passi ancora seguono, eccoli più vicini ma no, non loro. E così stavamo tutt'intorno ad aspettare, infiniti altri passi, e i nostri ancora a fondersi e inseguire. Loop. Dove sei, immaginiamo i passi e i passi stessi ci seguono, cercandoti, qui intorno, non c'è dubbio, ma, di preciso, dove sei? -Storia di un inseguimento. Ma siccome sarebbe poco gentile raccontare la fine, termina qui, rimandando all'ascolto e alla buona visione la soluzione del piccolo mistero. mp
Where are you, we can imagine the steps and the steps behind you. We play everything, even the steps that follows while a stroken wood burns each string. And the steps, still, are following. Here they are, no. Not them, but they write down on the earth, the walking flows, step by step leaving lhis trace and slightly changing. Alighiero Boetti: to write with the left hand is like drawing.
