  • There are worse things than growing old. Growing stupid, for instance.

  • getting old sucks, but it beats the alternative

  • @JustinSepheren Napoleon Solo was a character in "Goldfinger." He was the bad guy who dropped out of Goldfinger's plan to rob Fort Knox, and was driven to his death by Oddjob. In the book he was "Mr. Solo of the Unione Siciliano," ostensibly a mafioso.

  • They had to end this Man from uncle cos they found a cure for Thrush

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Airwolf

  • @1234dragonsky Fleming's "Casino Royale" was one on the TV movie show "Climax" back in 1954. So Bond does predate the UNCLE agents by about a decade or so if we are talking about TV. As far as Flemings Bond character, at least 10 of the novels that the movies were based on were written from 1953 to 1963, Such as Moonracker, Live and let die, From Russia with Love, Diamonds are forever, Goldfinger, For your eyes only, all written in the 1950's. the others in the very early 60's

  • @2manynegativewaves" Hustle"... a comedy? Who knew? I'll give anything a chance if RV's in it!

  • Ian Fleming's 007 first appeared in 1953 in novel form. SPECTRE first appeared in the novel THUNDERBALL. SPECTRE was just a small band of criminals working for an unnamed 'Asian government'. Blofeld's group was bush league until Dr. Julius No, a former Tong member, joined SPECTRE by investing the money he stole from the Tong. Essentially, SPECTRE worked for Dr. No's money. The MAN FROM UNCLE series was originally named 'Ian Fleming's Solo'. THRUSH was introduced in 'The Vulcan Affair' in 1964.

  • @JustinSepheren wait a minute first:man from uncle was before 007 so it means that trush was reformed into spectre not vice versa and second:i think that blofeld is founder of spectre not dr. no

  • S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and its founder Dr. No were destroyed by British intelligence agents (specifically agent 007). The scattered elements of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. reformed around the one section able to communicate with all the others. That section became the new organization T.H.R.U.S.H. which employed a mobile super computer that controls satrapies worldwide. After the destruction of U.N.C.L.E. and channel 'D', a secret group within T.H.R.U.S.H. called T.H.R.U.S.H. CENTRAL assumed control.
