The difference between LT and the Butkus was that LT was a linebacker going through offensive linemen and tight ends to get to the quarterback and halfback. Butkus was hitting defenseless halfbacks and wide receivers. LT combined the size and strength of a defensive lineman with the speed and agility of a linebacker. LT was the greatest of all time.
