@DarkArtistKaiser Yeah, one of the beauties of the franchise is that none of the proposed solutions are "perfect," and it's really down to deciding what's most important to you.
-
No kidding. It really is largely based on ones view of the world of which is the best ending.
For example, to me Chaos is the best ending since it returns Earth to as it once was and takes away the Orwellian Nightmare that would come if God took over, and allows to heal the planet that wouldn't come under Neutral. Though I can understand why people would likely want Law or Neutral endings more.

Chaos for life.
-
True, but than your stuck with a rotting world ruled by corrupt leaders.
-
Man, there's being tiresome and then there's internet arguments about alignments in SMT.
-
@DOOMRPG The whole point of Chaos is that you don't do what anyone says. :|
-
@DOOMRPG Actually:
Law=Totalitarian Rule by YHVH/Mind Slavery= Very Bad
Neutral= World rots because of human arrogance= Also not great
Chaos= Those with Power survive/rule =Not the worst outcome, but only for a few
Also, Satan is the agent of the Almighty's judgement and punishment.

I did the Law Ending for this game, wish I'd gone Chaos. Although, neither are very pleasant endings. Loves you lots, SMT.
-
I don't think Law gets a good rep in this game, But hey I'll take it any day over Chaos or Neutral I might lose my free will, but It's a hassle to me anyway a newfound innocence has some kind of joy in it, and in reality if I had to chose Chaos or Neutral I'd probably go with Chaos because at least you know the Demons aren't fair and are out to kill you, Humans do the same thing just with a friendly smile.
-
Law = do as god says = misery
Chaos= do as satan says = same thing
neutral = no good ending = still bad ending
Best chaos theme in my opinion. This song makes you feel as if you are in the center of a demonic ritual where the demons are waiting for the birth of their ultimate creation, the son of man who willingly gave his soul to the darkness in order to commit the worst of all possible sins: defiance against the great will.
