Son of a Ditch Canberra Australia 2007 - ditch slalom

Canberra Region Old School Skating (CROSS) long weekend was the Son of a Ditch race, a ditch slalom held in the Ainslie drains in Canberra Australia. As you can see, 2007 = a big drought which makes for perfect drain skating ... but not much else.
This event is held every Australia Day long weekend - January 26th. If you are nearby, you got to check it out. The drain is stepped with teeth that catch the debris, so the slalom is not only is banked but also stepped.
