Sierra Leone Educational Enrichment Project, a registered 501(c)3 charity, is seeking your help to provide Warehouse Space for 1500 pallets (40'x 48' x 60') of books (if we do not find the storage space, the books will be destroyed instead of going to the children who can use them!), Freight Containers, Overseas Shipping Services from Los Angeles to Sierra Leone, and Funding for any of these said needs. We have very recently procured from Los Angeles Unified School District a very large donation of over 1 million literacy materials including books and teacher editions for the people of Sierra Leone, West Africa-- formerly among the wealthiest and now one of the poorest countries on the African continent. The material we have is in premium condition, coming from the previous set of literacy curriculum of LAUSD. With more than 60% of Sierra Leone's 6 million population being illiterate, these books can definitely provide literacy material for a huge portion of the population. This is literally an opportunity of a lifetime for millions of children and for the future of an entire country. If you're interested in helping out in any way, please contact Oshri from Sierra Leone Educational Enrichment Project at info@dreamwithsleep.org or call (310) 415-5386. Thank you for caring, and have a great day!
