And regarding the calling plan question;
If you have a data plan, this would not cost you more than what you are paying for your data plan... Bare in mind not to stream heavy stuff like streaming movies or downloading games,movies since service providers doesn't fancy tethering...

Hello mate, I haven't tried this on W7 or Vista, but I assume it should work without any issues. I tried this on Windows XP and it works smooth... The only difference with this tutorial is instead of creating a wifi network, just connect your mobile using the usb cable and run PdaNet using your iphone.... that's about it and it should work...
