Welcome to the Autodesk Inventor Tutorial Series on the Basics of 3D Modeling. In this series Rob Cohee, Industry Solution Evangelist for Autodesk Manufacturing introduces the Sweep Feature in Autodesk Inventor. This sketch based feature is quite useful for creating 3D geometry with 2D or 3D paths. In this tutorial Rob shows multiple examples of this useful modeling feature.
I only asked because I liked how they used Microsoft's top tabbed Ribbon idea is there a way to get that in 2009? because I have '09 on the computers at my school

We had a plug in up on LABS for a while, looks like we took it down after the 2010 release. I was hesitant with the new interface for a while, now when I go back it feels like I'm working the mouse left handed (even though I'm left handed...) I'm a big fan of it, sorry I couldn't find the plug in.
