  • nice, can't tell from the vid,is the finish more a black or like the 2007 norc, grey??? Is the flash hider welded on??

Go out and shoot that bad boy and post up the results

    thx

    fellow nutter...

  • Yes, the finish is definitely more black, one reason why I went for this batch. I see Marstar has the old 2007 batch (grey with Chu wood stock) for $425. I paid $524. Wolverine in Canada has them for $525ea. as well. There is a camo version as well. I can't see any welds on the flash hider.

  • Nice Rifle! I have a side stamped polytech myself in California, got it unfired on consignment ata store for a little more than you got yours in US Dollars. You all are lucky to still be importing them, they stopped importing them into the US during the Clinton years. I am thoroughly happy with mine. I run surplus 7.62x51 through mine as several forums have stated the past Chinese rifles to run better with the surplus ammo than the .308 commercial ammo.

  • Thanks for writing. I have 3 of these rifles and they are all fantastic. Very nice quality on this 2009 shipment. I am glad I sold my 2007 model. The finish on those were not nearly as nice as this batch. Very happy.

  • Actually, Norinco/Polytech's are considered higher quality then the Springfield ones due to them having forged receivers instead of cast. About the only forged receiver you can get aside from the 900 dollar ones LRB sells. American made doesn't always translate into higher quality.

  • Absolutely right about the milled vs cast receivers. The Norincos/Polytechs are actually closer to USGI spec than the Springfields are.

  • @sicsempertyrannis187 ... as he types with his made in china computer.

  • @sicsempertyrannis187 Ah you're just all butthurt you can't get a usgi spec M14 for what we pay.

  • The chinese mass produce a rifle that beats alot of hand made custom us stuff . If you cant see that you are probably just sick with the red white and blue fever . Macarthur said he NEVER WANTED to fight a major Asian land battle . Thats why he want to nuke the red chinese in Korea . China is the emerging world power . FACT .the US is fading like the soviet socialist experiment failed .

  • u fucking chink gun lovers should move to china

  • Damn you Bill Clinton!

  • if you want something that will fail less buy norinco. they make solid firearms

  • From what I hear, Norinco actually bought the tooling and rifle specs directly from Springfield after they discontinued the USGI spec rifles. Viktorgorchev and Webstermr are right, THE only way to get a rifle closer to USGI specifications is to buy a USGI rifle!

  • @smurfmeplease yup trade ex sells 20 round with the follower modified to block them to 5 rounds. 30$ each best deal I found. I like them more than my 5 round mags because removing them from the rifle is easier (5 rounders are almost flush so hard to grab with the tight fit).

  • nice closeups nice camera work good resolution...who were the dicks that voted this down?

  • @smurfmeplease 20 round magazines pinned to 5 are quite common in Canada via store or online.
