"crt tube" is redundant because the "T" in crt stands for tube. That's like saying "ATM machine"

It must have required much work to make this tube. Well done !
I see the 'Elf and safety squad are trying to spoil it all. You will get no appreciable Xrays at voltages below 20Kv.I've spent nearly 50 years working with C.R.T.s, both in and out of housings, and still no cancers etc. EHT rectifier valves give more Xrays, and people dont seem to realise this. Their radiation is wider spread too.

@hardstyle905 I didnt say that he is as good as dead already. But I dont think this kind of experimentation is recommended for anybody. I dont know the power ie. Nor the transmission coeficient of this type of glas at the frequ. Nor the width of the glass.
Is there x-ray rad at only a several keV: yes. Does it kill you instantly: no. Is it healthy use it all the time for something and put it on your desk: I dont know. Thats all.
