Pole tapping the surface for Carp using a pellet

Catching small carp shallow on one of my favourite methods "slapping" or as it's also known "tapping".
Who said Carp were clever !!!

Im new to fishing.Been trying hair rig with a stop on the bait.That band method looks alot easier to hold the bait on.I fished for 5 hours yesterday 1 carp about 1lb the another about 4lb then my biggest fish at around 6lb.Your videos are really helpfull thanks.I have got a 6m middy pole white knuckle.

i do this at where i do adult matches i caught 136lb of carp with this method in 6hours. i love this method and your videos keep it up.

Try slapping the pole then lifting the hook bait so the fish see ur hookbait go back through the water

Do you have a long length of line between pole tip & float?

So when your tapping the pole up & down is you bait also jigging around?
