My petrus method. step 3b

Step 3b of the petrus method. After getting the cross on the yellow and red faces, fill out 3 more pieces.it's called a 2x2x3 + 2. One tiny more step and the bottom two layers are complete!

In your step 3a you got us to get to crosses, right and up. then got the edges in the correct positions, stiil in a cross obviously. But then in you 3b you start with two crosses and then you break it all up by tring to solve a corner when i thought that something really clever was coming up.

this step is done so stupidly lol. If you want to get faster with this method instead of using F and U moves, hold the 2x2x3 to your left and use R and U moves. That will make u a lot faster....Looking ahead is easier and those moves are a lot easier to turn fast...

wow 5 other videos couldnt teach me what uve taught me easily. i found it hard even tho i can already solve the cube layer by layer. but your toturials are the best

When you do this step does it matter if you screw up your crosses?

At this stage, the cross pieces don't have to be correctly oriented. Just so it makes a "cross" on both yellow and red. And during the next step, don't freak out when you sort of mess them up to get the next corners in place. it is sort of a destroy and rebuild part..like 2nd layer on layer by layer method. Trust me, practice and it will work. I am far from genius and i got it.lol I trust you can too! ^_^
