TURBO IS VERY WEAK, AND WHEN IT'S FAILING, THE CONSUMPTION OF OIL GOES UP. IT'S FUNNY AND STUPID VW SAYS 1/2 QUARTER FOR 500 MILES IS NORMAL JA JA . THE TRIPTRONIC TRANSMITION. the MK IV put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths. those were total nightmares and nothing but check engine light after check engine light. i just love seeing the vw vs honda war. drive whatever you want its a car who cares?

@Themadfarter1976 good cars? You in US got nice and full equipment cars with big engines and full of horses power. And big trucks (i want one, and I'll never get one because of gas prices (about 2$ per LITER) Europe sucks (in some ways) I want to see this "big" american life. We in europe have shitty cars with small engines and it's still big price of rusty cars not like in US big,nice and strong car.

@Raffix394 No you try importing any european car to the us especially diesel watch you get red flagged. Why not instead of being a complete ass you actaully do the research, look into the different standards and also the us import laws.

@Logan04PB That's total bullshit, It's the other way around in most US states cars don't even have to have a direct fuel injection or even a catalytic converter not even mentioning particulate filters. A lot of cars in the US aren't allowed in the EU because of them being environmental disasters, especially when it comes to muscle cars and some cars from the brand Hummer.

Good Diesels btw are "cleaner" then petrol driven cars when you count in the higher efficiancy degree of Diesel engines.

i was in LA recently and saw couple of these "rabbits" i was like wtf its a golf 5

it didnt even had a batch with rabbit on it just a stupid rabbit picture badge with 2.5L

didnt even know vw was making 2.5L engines (except of diesels)

@Themadfarter1976 because the euro emissions standards are less then us wich is why they can get good gas milage and why they arent allowed in us. Once in the us and following us emission standards they loose gas mileage especially if they are diesel
