Doom game (originally created by ID software) version runs on ZX Spectrum (pentagon clone), done by russian famous demogroup Digital Reality. Reasonably fast 3D engine, playable version. Full version was never released (as I know)

  • Its cool.

And it has been made by HUNGARIAN group Digitaly Reality.

  • Of course not. This Digital Reality demogroup is from Moscow / Russia. That hungarian game developing studio is only group with same name, nothing more.

  • @TraumaZero how can I get this game ? I seached in the stores but it's to old

  • @Dragonoo1990 - You cannot buy it, because it, s only "proof of concept" game. Russian developers of this port didn´t have any copyright laws or licenses to spread or sell any copies of Doom for ZX Spectrum. So, only one way, how to obtain it, is download. Search via Google you will finf the TAP version for emulators soon

  • awesome

  • @TraumaZero Er, I must admit what you said is a bit wrong because:

    1) Back in the day, id wasn't really caring about the fact that ex-USSR countries got pirated Doom games.

    2) Spectrum was already obsolete in the UK.

    3) Since it all started with a huge flow of cheap 'n cracked casette games and continued with some guys deciding to start programming, the new Spectrum scene was naturally about to grow big.

...and "needing the license" was not a reason. HyperSoft simply decided to give up.

  • @TraumaZero i blame communism

  • @Dragonoo1990 Doom itself? you can get it on xbox arcade for a couple of bucks,or for free on PC if youre not above torrenting.

  • Poundogy, most retarded catchphrase ever.

  • @MiracleKD18 Indeed indeed... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hilarious!

  • @AlphaFirefly

    Good for you

  • @MiracleKD18 You got pwned "just" (being a relative term) 2 years ago :P

  • @inphanta Search for Shakira and you'll find it.
