  • Stopped eating wheat, flour, simple carbs and SUGAR. I lost 40 lbs in 4 months (almost all of it in the first 60 days.). Every vegetarian I've ever known has either been fat, depressed or sick... Or all three. Eat fat. Eat meat and never ever eat sugar again. We are fat because of processed foods and modern agriculture. Feed a dog wheat and corn and they"ll get get fat too. This movie was excellent, but I still think McDonalds is evil.

  • This documentary changed me and my husband's life. When I was trying to lose my baby weight, I didn't lose as much weight when i was on a low-fat diet+cardio. I was literally not eating all day because I was so frustrated I wasn't losing the weight fast enough. Thank you for opening our eyes.

  • @FatHeadMovie He's probably go at it from a "Red Meat" perspective. There are, of course lots of kinds of meat to eat.

  • @GianTheCow Go do your doctor and they are telling everyone the same nonsense. The information here is a revelation, because so many people don't know where to go look for the right information. It is buried beneath all the crap that's been spewed out for decades now. I'm glad you are informed. Now, go be helpful by informing others, instead of standing around feeling proud that you know something others don't!

  • @GianTheCow i have a close friend who is a vegan and has been for a few years now. he is very muscular and has never felt better. i also consume very little meat in my diet and still have high energy levels and weigh lift frequently. so we are basically wasting our time? and plus this main guy (dont feel like looking at the name) looks/sounds like a lazy slob anyway.

  • this documentary is incredibly irritating. yes, it's points are factual and interesting. but, i was continually slapping my forehead at all these moments most people would have epiphanies over. These "amazing" facts presented should have been known by the general populous anyway....but obviously most people look no further than television for their information....

and it is incredibly insulting that anyone pursuing a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise is basically called a "moron.

  • @toddy1968 agreed.

  • @MassacreBlast WebMD is run by pharmaceutical companies. I look at the strength of the evidence, not the supposed credentials of the source. Google "Atlantic Ionnidis medical science," read the article to see how much lousy "science" is behind the standard advice.

Vegetables are important, but too much fruit isn't good for you ... google Dr. Lustig's speech "sugar the bitter truth" and see if you think dumping loads of fructose into your body is a good idea.

  • @toddy1968 - I ate raw foods for 34 days and lost 26 pounds. And I started at only 224 and I'm a 6 foot 1 man. Had I been much heavier I could have lost even more weight than you in a shorter span. I don't agree with your 'vegetarians are fat, sick and depressed' comment. Perhaps maybe the odd one, however I'm on a raw diet which eliminates cooked foods which differs from a vegetarian diet.

  • @FatHeadMovie - webmd. c o m/diet/atkins-diet-what-it-is

I trust webMD over you I'm sorry. Also I noticed how you glossed over my comment how Fruits and Vegetables are more important than meat in a diet. That is very telling because I'm hoping that even you can understand the obvious health benefits of having Fruits and Vegetables as the base of your food pyramid.

  • Can't we all just agree that, evidently, no one really has the slightest clue how the body works yet and just get along?

  • @MassacreBlast There's no "of course" involved. You haven't explained why the Atkins diet puts a load on the kidneys. In clinical research, low-carb diets have improved kidney function. You're expressing an opinion without backing it up.
