i dont think it was the water that did it i think it was the impact of the board on the water. you gotta remember that pros go all out so extra weight and more speed which makes the wake better but the fall a hell of a lot worse.
oops i meant "rediculous lengths". not rediculous wakes. anyways, in my opinion going over 25mph is dumb. yeah, you do get a bigger wake (if you're doing it right, like adding more weight and increasing the rope length), but why not just work on your technique? scott byerly was doing huge tricks on a tiny wake back in 1994. how? technique.
you guys gotta remember, the more weight in the boat, the faster you need to go to clean the wake up. so people who are riding and rediculous wakes have the boat loaded with tons of weight.
also, to the people saying you dont go more than 25, keep in mind how fast you're edging. a very hard edge can get you past 35mph (going sideways). Hitting the water at that speed is brutal, especially faceplants.
damn thats really fast but understadable because he is 92 feet from the boat.... so ya you would need that speed to make it across the wake and cause the line is so far it gives him alot of heelside edging so ya your prolly right
