lol, excellent stuff. I spent the afternoon painting a landscape, and had your video playing on repeat in the background as I painted-- it kind of took me into this other world.. I like playing atmospheric music while I work.. your video was definitely a contribution tro my artistic process. Are you gonna take any more footage out there? Maybe of the bridge or ruins? If you do, play the same music in the background for it!I'll be checking it out for sure

I really have a deep connection with the history associated with that area. I'm a member of a nearby Historical Society, and I have been reading & archiving letters from the Pioneer days, and learning about what their lives were like.
There's also a very old stone bridge in the woods nearby, and an abandoned farmstead where onions have been growing wild for about 80 years.
I always wonder what life was like back then, and sometimes wish I could live back then just for a while

Very nice! I love visiting, and am attracted to, old, abandoned places!! Especially cemeteries!! I'm originally from Wisconsin and do miss places such as that. This looks like a great place for geocaching with a gps!

Oh yeah there are a few great places nearby that would be perfect for hiding geocaches... I wonder if there are already any nearby?

cool. I relate to this film because I also enjoy visiting places that are "abandoned". Roads, paths, fields, anywhere there was once civilization but is now empty.
On a side note- what's with the sinister laugh at 3:06??

ah, that was my relief from the frustration of getting my car stuck in the snow, and nobody knew I was out there, and I was very far away, and I wasn't sure how I would explain it to a tow truck guy. Luckily I got my car out of the rut by myself and I was much relieved that I didn't need help :)
