  • i didn't count, but you rarely see so many repetitions in one game, let alone in speed chess. really well done by bologan: he played a lousy two-pawn-down semi-endgame with so much confidence as if it was perfectly clear from the start that he'd finally be winning. as a matter of fact, he himself was the one who deliberately went into that poor endgame by avoiding the Qd1+ Re1 Qd5 Re5 repetition at around 6:00
