  • Beautiful playing! I am learning this now and will post it within a few weeks (I hope). Since I am an older amateur pianist (77 y/o) my fingers do not move as easily as yours so I did some redistribution of the notes between the two hands, however, the notes are all there. If you don't mind a suggestion, I think you could have used a little more dynamics in your expression. , however, it is still very musical.

  • Beautifully played. One suggestion - try closing your eyes when you play it, and you will play it with more of the dynamics that Engrmat32 suggests. You're already at 99% with this piece - more feeling and passion will make it 100%. Keep up the great work and never stop playing. Piano is a lifelong journey.

  • @PurpleWhiteSnow Thank you. It is too hard for me as of now. I only passed Grade 5.

  • @hkgweigwei Its grade 8, according to a competition in my area... This song was listed under the Grade 8 Section

  • @kaz63piano What is the difficulty of this piece? I only passed grade 5 and found it is almost impossible. The hands arrangement of the piece is tricky. But I love it.

  • Very well played. Treat the lower part of the right hand as a separate entity and a little emphasis on phrasing then that couldnt have been done better my mendelssohn himself.

  • This is very, very good! Thank you for sharing your interpretation of such beautiful music.

  • @BirdsBrasil I REALLY love this interpretation, but I like Barenboim's interpretation a little bit better. I like it when this piece moves.

  • You played that beautifully.Thank you for uploading it.

  • Thanks. I truly enjoyed your performance, the warm and rich tone. I would also love it if you could possibly play it a bit slower, to savor all the voices in the song and keep it more on the elegy side. (There's so much beauty and wonder in this piece that a slower pace might empahsize the elegy side more.) I'd be happy if you'd post that for me, if you're willing.

  • Thank you very much! Your music causes very nice feelings... I love this music very much.... I calms me down... I is amazing to my soul...
