And the parallel in Psalms 45:6 and Hebrew 1:8.
John 1:1 "1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
And Exodus 34:14 in consonant with Matthew 4:10 and Hebrew 1:6
Colossians 1:15-16, John 1:1-3,10 ...
Ezekiel 34:31 and John 10:14, Psalm 23:1 and Hebrews 13:20.
........So my question is ... Is Jesus God, or not? I am not denying that Jesus is God's son, but what I wanna understand is what is being said here.

Isaiah 9:6 (King James Version) 6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 10:29-33 (New International Version)
29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30I and the Father are one." 31Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" 33"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."

Then, how do you fit these verses in your explanation?
John 5:17-18 (King James Version) 17But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. 18Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Jesus IS God. He is the Father manifest in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16)
"16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
The name Jesus = Jehovah Savior
The title Christ = Anointed One or Messiah
Jesus Christ basically means: Jehovah the savior come in the flesh.
Hope this helps.
Peace be with you.

Good question regarding Hanukkah which is called the Feast of Dedication. Here is a passages that places Christ in the Temple during the Feast of Dedication.
"Then came the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon's Colonnade." John 10:22-23

Please also read Phillipians 2:6-7 to help you understand why Jesus didnt boast. Also, it should be asked if they would have crucified him knowing he was God? It MUST have happened the way it did.
If you do not understand the Godhead then ask yourself this one question:
Is Jesus a MEMBER of the Godhead, or did the Godhead rest fully IN Jesus?
Answer: (Collosians 2:9) "For in him dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY."

Interesting but possibly a limited exploration of the Godhead as Jesus also said HE would raise HIMSELF from the dead (John 2:19-21).
Try these seemingly contradictory passages:
John 16:7 VS John 14:6
John 6:4 VS John 12:32
All six of these scriptures came from the lips of Jesus himself. Are they a contradiction? No, they do not contradict themselves at all.

So then, according to you, what is the relation between: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
-
you mean to say that you believe that God the Father(Yahweh), Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are One? Cause that's what i believe. They are three distinct Persons but yet One Divine God.
But Richard...you believe in the trinity...a false doctrine of man....
John 17:3 (King James Version) 3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Who was the God of Jesus?...Yahweh...
It all makes complete sense Richard...
Hear o Israel...the Lord your God is ONE...not a subset of one...not three...ONE...Echad.
