  • Great sets, great animation, and nice exzagerated movement. I love the animation at 00:40!

  • People often try to hard to make animation 'realistic' which can take a lot of the fun out of it, and real does not really work that well with the LEGO aesthetic.

  • I really enjoy the film Noir style lighting and it's something I would enjoy playing with a bit more. Shooting black and white is very fun but if you do you need to film based on contrast, the last thing you want people looking at is a grey movie. Look at Sin City for example, almost no grey in the film. After we shot the footage and I put it on the computer I bumped the contrast up a lot to make that middle ground disappear.
