  • Recyling is a solution to a problem that does not exist. Penn and Teller say it much better than I can in their show about recycling. They talk about all the myths of recycling. For a few things such as alluminum, recycling is cost effective and market driven. In other cases, much time and effort are required to get a lesser product from recycling when the raw materials may be abundant and relativly cheap.

    It does however make those who participate feel good about themselves.
