  • Reminds me of Thunderbolt & Lightfoot. Just needs a set of 5.86 gears and about a .600 lift cam. It's a hot rod, it's just for fun. The car is not ruined, just put the axle back on top of the springs and some smaller tires, and it's back like all you guys with no sense of humor want. You know he didn't keep it that way, but it sure got some looks and was fun to play with.

  • @elituko My friend is thinking of turning it into a car for drag races with some aftermarket parts for that 460 right now it has about 300 or so horsepower he wants to add two hundred if not more under the hood.

  • @THReynolds2 Its actually known as brake stand or burnout so both work maybe you should learn to study the so called lingo, buddy.

  • that's fuckin Badass!

  • Is it just me or does this car remind anyone of those Zingers model cars? lol

  • @gtsuperjet two reasons why my comments better. First of all it is spelled matter not manner. Second of all i think it looks great like this, not like a piece of shit slammed down truck where you can't even put a case of beer in the back.

  • @THReynolds2 Wow you have done alot, Indy you say. I too have been around the block in a few Cyclone's and Cougars and have been going to the drags since I was small enough to ride on my dad's shoulders in the early 60s. But you forgot to tell me you wrote the book on muscle car lingo. Sorry, I shouldn't doubt a BFE announcer!

  • @nhmtrhd I was driving a 1971 Torino with a 351C4V/C6 out to watch the drag races at Beech Bend. A few years later I raced a 1969 Mercury Cyclone with a 428CJ Ram Air/C6 at Beech Bend and at the end of the season represented Beech Bend in the Bracket Finals at Indianapolis, Indiana. Yeah, I've done burnouts at Indy, THE Indy, not some back road. I was also track announcer at Beech Bend, including the NHRA SportsNationals.

  • Wada waste of a rare Torino fast back.........DUH

  • @THReynolds2 A brake stand uses the brakes to hold the car while the tires start to roast. It's a poorman's "line lock". But you probally haven't heard of that ether. A burn out can be done anyway you want as long as you are spinning tires. I know, 'cause I am old enough and have done plenty of both back in the 70's. Where were you son?
