Filmed on June 20, 2009 - here we have the consist of retired IRT subway cars known as the "Train of Many Colors" leaving the East Tremont Avenue - West Farms Square station in the Bronx (near the Zoo) on a fan trip on its way up north towards the next stop: East 180 Street. The consist is as follows: R12 #5760 (1948), R15 #6239 (1950), R33 Mainliners #9207-9206 (1962-63), R33 Mainliners #9016-9017 (1962-63), R33 World's Fair #9306 (1963), and R17 #6609 (1955.)

  • @FSPlata24 This brings back alot of memories. I remember riding the Redbirds on the 2, 4 , 5 and 6 lines as a little kid. I remember what life was like in New York city before 9/11. Everything was so different back then.
