Well tell me this, why are there so many videotaped (many cell phone) beheadings and stoning of women being uploaded from small islamic-sharia communities in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan? Since an overwhelming number of videos are from islamic cities, there is an undeniable correlation.

@JaniceParton See that's what I don't get, if he didn't want his daughters to like westerners why bring them to America? People assimilate according to their surroundings. They loved the culture and wanted to fit in with their friends like most teens do.

Don't forget to add America. Now that the Muslims are flocking here, "honor" killings are happening. The last one was a muslim young teenager. The family lives in Texas, which of course she attends school. Daddy ran her down several times, killing her. Her crime? She wore "western" clothing. She loved America and wanted to dress like her friends... OMG! After this being in the news for a couple of days, it was like the incident dropped off the earth. You want to bet daddy got off the hook?

@turgore There is other factors, the main factors are Islam and Sharia Law- It is a very easy religion to justify both good deeds and cruelty.

@Antonio33s Please...think in a broader perspective. In Jordan women are basically free - why are some muslim countries more oppressive than others ? There must be another factor that influences laws and such. I agree with your iran point entirely. Watch "persepolis" , an amazing movie. And there will be no ground zero mosque- and it never was ground zero- it was close but guess what, another mosque was allready present within the area.
