inflated the jacket once out of the aircraft. Those on the beach tha witnessed the crash helped them get to shore. It wa a tiny decision which held the power of life or death

Those who survived survived due to a small decision they made themselves. When the captain asked the passengers to put on life jackets they were told not to inflate them until they left the aircraft. So mr 'Aircarft', you are wrong, the plane was hijacked so the pilot said he was meeting their demands and flying to australia, but he was actually heading to the comoros islands near madagascar, when the plane ran out of fuel he had to do a water landing, in a last ditch atempt to kill everyone, the hijackers tilted the plane to the left, out of 175, 50 survived including the captain

Emirates...
The plane was hightjacked and there was no fuel in the plane left. The pilot wanted to land on the water but then he saw that there was a beach right in front of him... He had to turn or there would have been more casualties.
