@k0rkscr3w Theres actually a really big backstory behind all this, but you can easily learn all of that in the Dead Space wiki, i highly recommend it. it has everything you would want to know about Dead Space :)

I occasionally see comments by people saying they didn't find this game scary. Well, if you were in that scenario for real it would obviously be terrifying. So, the game will be scary for the player depending on the extent to which he can immerse himself in the game world--make it real. If this game doesn't scare you, that is because of a failure of imagination.

Personally I thought it was the best game i had ever played period... Thats just my honest opinion, however. I finished it and was like OOHOHO man! That was the best game ive ever played... but i dont think i want to play it again... But against my better judgement, i started it again :P Can't wait for the 2nd one! WITH MULTIPLAYER! strategically dismember your friends!
