  • I thought this was a normal bike vid, turned up at the circuit for a track day on my ZX10 and couldn't get out of first gear!

  • LOL, well I hope you didn't actually put your bike on the RC track, you'll get shot!

  • nice video des! they go really well.

im just putting the electrics in my oto bike now,

wanna get a venom after to see what all the fuss is about :-)

  • Cheers Mark, the OTO is fine, just a bit heavy and very wide at the front, so all the usual NF/TT mods apply, cut away some chassis and narrow the fairing to get lean angle.

  • wow this guys absolute control

  • All true, the best thing about the venom though is that it's up and running in minimum time, literally charge it and go, and if a box stock racing class can be started then we might see a lot of new faces in the class, not everyone wants all the hops ups, or can afford them.

The Venom is a fresh new design with lots of top notch features, whereas the OTO looks a lot like a little NF bike and has similar modications required to get it going properly, which is part of the fun to me!

  • Dez the Venom is not on sale at model shops yet, the date has been put back once again to the 17 of December. The OTO comes with a brushless motor and esc for around £300 all metal construction, 3 disc brakes. The Venom may be ready to run, but all you guys are going to stick a brushless set up in it, and a lipo battery, that Mongoose set up is over £130 so thats over £310 already, plus battery and upgrades will work out expensive for a very plastic bike.

  • The OTO bike is fine, though a little wide across the chassis, and not available as an RTR kit henmce a lot of attantion has turned to the Venom, which at around £180 all in is quite a package! We have tested and reviewed the Venom GPV-1 in January Issue of RRCi magazine, on sale now at all good model shops.

  • What you all think of the OTO ? seems everybody is talking about the Venom even though its not here yet and not been tested.

  • k thanks you
