Still less stupid than the smurfs movie.

to me this and transformers the movie will always be the "cursed" movies, as two famous voice actors died during the production, in this case Mel Blanc and George O'Hanlan, lousey Jeff Bergman had to finish for them. In the other movie's case orson welles and scatman crothers.

I like how mimics the original intro.

what was the budget of this movie? I guess Univeral execs, under the ownership of MCA (who celebrated the Studio's 75th as a building), invested so much promotional money and trailers into this undderated movie, which has done well on vhs and dvd. I can't wait to see it on bluray although Universal won't include it in its 100th anniversary collection. They still hold the rights to the movie even though Time Warner owns the rights to the characters.

even though its in old school cgi i think they really perfected the original, except for the score piece at the end, wheres all the low instrument going up and down in the last seconds?

I love this intro..very stylized, but it keeps with the classic tradition of the show at the same time.

I'd be interested to hear who, if any, purposely saw this movie because they found out that Tiffany was going to be in it. Back then I was too young to know who she was.

What is Mr. Spacely doing at the Jetsons home?

Jane didn't steal his wallet, how will she buy groceries?
In his bio, Joe Barbera mentioned how "Universal people" took over more of the project and they wiped Janet Lee (aka Janet Waldo)'s voice out and replaced it with Tiffany. "I felt terrible about it, and I still do...I know this broke Janet's heart" (My Life In Toons)

Janet Waldo told me once that when the film played in theaters originally, the audience actually did boo at the screen when Tiffany's name came up.
