PRIVATE LESSONS II (1993) is the Japanese remake of the 1981 American "classic" PRIVATE LESSONS starring Sylvia Kristel. This version stars pop star Goro Inagaki (from SMAP) and Polish sensation Joanna Pacula. It makes no damn sense and will probably be the best movie you'll ever see. Its a Japanese sex comedy with neither sex nor comedy.

    Joanna Pacula managed a delicate mix of class and emotion that's much finer than Sylvia Kristel's, and the whole movie gained a great deal moving from the American South to Tokyo - much better casting and believable plot setup. You can really feel for both of the lovers. Almost worth the reduction in skin :)
