Harper's Tragedy

Harper, a 6-month old kitten was brutally beaten by her adoption family. The woman who beat the kitten to death was arrested but charges were dropped a week later. Please help Harper so other animals won't suffer the same fate. Send a message that animal abuse is not to be tolerated.

You know as well as I do that when an animal is adopted no one ever knows for sure, if it went to a good home or not. People will say whatever, to get an animal. Thousands are killed every year due to cruelty. Harper is not the first, nor the last. There is a number to call on this matter Animal Cruelty 771-3595 they will investigate this matter. (if their still in service) about the petition, been there, done that! To whomever you hand it to will only file it at the bottom of the pile.

Fortunately, God doesn't miss a thing. Animal abusers may not get the 'justice' they deserve here, but their time will come, when they have to face the one who made these wonderful beings to share the world w/us...supposedily in joy & for OUR benefit!

just want to set the record straight about those of you doubting this happened. marcy was the caretaker of this kitten for 6 months. if any of you are calling marcy a liar, you can take it from me she isn't. marcy is thee biggest animal lover i know, and wouldn't fabricate an atrocious story about a kitten being brutally beaten for attention.

also, comparing a kitten to a roach is like comparing a rose to a weed. COME ON.

What a SICK person. I think they should allow public stoning and punishment. I know it doesn't change anything but at least she would know what it feels like and get a bit of the misery she caused. It's sick f***s like her that make the world a horrible place. I feel so sorry for that cat :( If King actually has a conscience I hope she hates herself and that regrets what she did for every minute til her life ends. She is yet another embarrassment to mankind.

I know this post is probably late, but those of you that can, should really look into court records for other animal crimes in Yavapai County, and the lack of prosecution! Perhaps another petition should be filed against the prosecutors handling these cases. Perhaps they should have to go before the state bar for negligence! or maybe 5 on our side or 3, whatever that is, should get hold of this.

I want to tell you that Yavapai County Attorneys seem to have no regard for much of anything but sitting on their asses, when it comes to prosecuting such crimes. There is a couple living in Ash Fork, who about 6 years ago, were caught and supposedly prosecuted for killing over a hundred animals, by starvation, mutilation and neglect. They had cats locked up in a mobile home that
