スイス親善文化大使のキム・テヒとイ・ワンの姉弟が5月初め、ス­イスを訪問し、「独島は韓国領土」というメッセージが入ったTシ­ャツと歌謡曲「独島は韓国領土」リメークアルバムなどを配る予定­だ。

2005年、スイス親善文化大使として訪れたスイスで、日本と韓­国が互いに領有権を主張して領土問題となっている竹島（韓国名：­独島）について、これを韓国の領土と主張する「独島愛キャンペー­¬ン」を展開した。

これに対し日本で反発があることに関して、キム・テヒは政治活動­と芸能活動は別であると都合のいい主張し、自身の出演する作品が­日本で放映された際にはプロモーションのため訪日する予定である­と述べている。
