Hummer Pedal car race at 3-17-07 NY Rangers Game

This is the pedal car race that I competed in, driving the blue car. At the center cone I consulted the "skater" as to which way to go around the cone. I followed his direction and should have won the race (and the autographed hockey stick) as the white car driver should have been disqualified according to the pre-race "briefing".

At the end of the day, justice prevailed as the powers that be wrote "When we realized what happened at the conclusion of the event, we agreed that you did in fact win the contest and should receive a prize. Since they already awarded the prize to the driver of the white vehicle, and he was quite reluctant to give it up, we decided to send another prize out to you. A team autographed stick was sent to your attention this morning."

I received the stick in the mail, signed by most of the players (practically none of them readable!) complete with Letter of Authenticity. It's Good to be the King! (LOL)

Yeah it WAS an awesome game-- they need to play like that on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday so that they can beat Buffalo!

Well if you were there and were paying attention then you know that Staten Island crossed the Finish Line before me because he cheated and went the wrong way around the center cone. Check out the REAL story to the right of the video. As a matter of fact, the people in charge agreed with me to the point of awarding me a better prize.

They have 8 games left to get into playoffs and prove that they don't. Anyway, amazing experience being on the same ice that the greats have skated on-- even if was to drive a ridiculous looking car.

it would be a dream to do something like that in MSG, the greatest arene in the world. and you got the opportunity do do it. All i have is continental, and soon to be prudential.
