@xXwhygodwhyXx its not even a permanent fix and will screw up. the proper way to fix 3rrod or 1rrod is to either reflow or reball the system. 4rrod is a bad connection from av cables to the port (get new cables) 2rrod is it overheating and you need to turn it off for 3 to 4 hours for it to cool so to stop this get 12v fans, a case fan, RAM heatsinks, or get some 20in. long dvd drive cables and put the drive out of the xbox. all this is available on ebay

@xXwhygodwhyXx Xbox 360 failure is actually caused by a combination of things: Poor cooling of the graphics chip, inferior lead-free solder, cheap parts, etc. All of these issues blend together and the results are loads of failures.

@xXwhygodwhyXx umm last i checked the xclamps where to be removed not added ahaa there just to be replaced with standard m5 machine screws :) 2 washers per screw and a pring wash for the under side of the motherboard and screw anyone need help just mail me no problems :)

RRod is caused by microsoft not mounting the heat sink correctly, this is the cause to all rrod 360s. Best way to fix this before your chips fry is to get a new bolt set called x clamp and replace it on the heat sink. Then your good to go.
