"Changing Concepts in CNS Repair: From Stem Cell to Activity-Based Restoration Therapies" - Part 1 - Dr. John McDonald, Director of International Center for Spinal Cord Injury, Kennedy Krieger Institute & Johns Hopkins University - Lecture given at Working 2 Walk Science Symposium, April 22, 2007 in Washington DC.
its so true about medicine falling short at the rehabilitation stage. I do rehab for so many cardiac bypass patients that are not followed up with by physicians at my fitness center. I don't charge them because I feel it is important and its a way I can serve God. The results are amazing. Its just shocking to me that the medical system makes so much money doing such a small percentage of the total work.
