Dalai Lama visits Oxford

The Dalai Lama came to Oxford today (30/05/08) to be welcomed by a protest by the Western Shugden Society. In short the Dalai Lama does not support the Shugden.

Thanks to the brave Tibetans prepared to stand up to the Dalai Lama's bullying tactics and the combined efforts of Shugden people around the world the truth about this religious persecution is now spreading in global society, news media and so forth.

If you check nowadays there is no longer the unquestioned acceptance that the Dalai Lama's view must be right.

How has this happened?

Only through education. People are learning all the time the truth about the Tibetan situation.

i think we need to stop focusing on Dalai Lama alone. Yes, he has said that DS practice is bad. That is ONE lama. there are so many great, illustrious, highly attained Lamas who uphold the practice and are an incredible example of what Dharma practice is really about.

There are recently some very beautiful articles posted up on dorjeshugden (dot ) com about such lamas and i highly recommend having a read of them to get a more positive view on the situation
