@Entertainmentwf In my experience, it's the opposite: Canadian Christians (like myself) are scared to admit they're Christians in public, and atheists are noticeably proud to tell people they're atheists, & they clearly enjoy insulting Christians.

You say "atheists are looked down upon". Then how come when I was in high school (in the supposedly more religious 80's), it was so hard for me & my other Christian friends to admit we were Christians for fear of (guess what) being looked down upon, or worse yet, being laughed at or bullied? Atheists in Canada look down upon Christians. That's the real truth.
