good review mate but I think some of your individual track reviews are a little off in my opinion.

for example any song similar to 'stop this train' makes it one of the top tracks on the album, definitely won't be skipping it. Also 'if i ever get around to living' doesn't strike me as particularly electric or out of place, the harmony's are awesome on it.

Not for nothing, but John Mayer is probably one of the better musicians of this generation. He's a phenomenal guitar player.

Great album much better than Battle Studies, I'd say on par with Continuum and that's saying a lot, I like how each album has a different style I think people just write him off as a pop guitarist that aims at a female audience but He's just a great musician all round. I like the simple sound honest sound of the album

Whiskey Whiskey Whiskey IS the first song he made for the album. the first verse is: "We pick up in New York City Tryin' to find the man I never got to be"... this starts off the story of the album... you could think of this album as a play or a story.
