Air Date: Nov. 26, 2007 Part 1 of this episode, filmed at the 2007 PhotoPlus Expo in NYC includes an interview with John Nack, Sr Product Mgr at Adobe Systems, Inc
Photography has become a mass produced sterile mass produced medium. Digital will never have the depth of field true film has. A 3 year old dummy could use digital.
The art of photography just doesnt exist anymore with photoshop cheating and digital manipulation.
Excellent! I bought Diallo's "Mastering Digital Black and White" after seeing him speak at the Apple store and when I saw this on Youtube I was excited becasue I am not a fan of doing research myself. These episodes are great for getting some condensed info on what's up in digital
John Nack is an idiot. What he and his team only care about is photographers. Photoshop is however also widely used by 2D artists (check cgtalkDOTcom and many similar site) yet they refuse to improve Photoshop in that area. Photography is big business, so obviously they care more about their cash flow, then trying to improve Photoshop for the millions of 2D artists out there.
