im using wildcat 15% 2&4 stroke fuel...and im using the glow plug that came with the engine brand new in the box
-
What kind of fuel, glow plug?
-
Yes i have adjusted the low end...i leaned as much as i could. the idle is steady and i can slam it without hesitation.. i tried leaning it till little smoke was coming out on idle but then thats when it hesitates.
-
There should not be an excessive amount of smoke at ANY time, you've adjusted the low end I assume? There should be a little smoke at idle and a faint trail in the air, is the idle steady, can you slam wide open throttle without it bogging or hesitating?

i just bought a alpha 40 trainer, probably should have gone with the super cub electric...oh well live and learn
-
alrighty thanks for the fast responce

If you have a trainer or instructor, yes. If you're looking to fly this cold straight from the Super Cub I think it would be more than a bit much.

Hello i was wonering about this i already have the supercub and have mastered it and was looking for a plane to upgrade to and was wondering if this would be a good plane to enter into the nitro field with?
I have a question..I have an os fs120III 4stroke i broke in. Is it normal to have excess white smoke coming out of exhaust when on idle or mid throttle. I set the needles per instructions and tweeked it every which way but still get smoke

I'm not familiar with OS, I don't know. I would suggest contacting them for proper tuning recommendations.

Going to answer all at once. Anyone can fly the PTS as long as they have an instructor with them. Get with your local club/flying field to see when you can get lined up with an instructor. This is the old PTS, I would recommend going with the newer version with the Spektrum Radio.
