2001 Bucks should have been the champs. Redd as 6th Man. Ray as franchise player. Cassell, Alston, Glen Robinson, Tim Thomas. They swept the Lakers the champs that season winning both games by a combined 40+ points. Bucks had a chance to be the NBA Champs if AI did not go off and the refs fucked up with those calls. Imagine if Redd and Allen stayed together when Redd became the All-star he is now.

i agree...plus allen's shot is so much easier and better in form

allen's shot is the quickest in the game, but it also minimizes the amount of effort needed to shoot...his body is straight when he jumps, and he only brings the ball up to the top of his head and shoots with his wrist

redd has to cock the ball back, meaning he uses more of his arms, his back and legs to shoot the ball...

over time, the amount of shots these two put up, redd's shot is bound to deteriorate faster and it has

arguments like these are stupid, because you cant say a certain player would develop the same way under different conditions...it can be argued that redd only progressed the way he did because allen's vacancy left him a ton of minutes to develop...if allen stayed then redd would have been glued to the bench nor would he be given the freedom to do what he wanted, all the shots wouldve went to ray ray

Ray Allen is definitely the superior player, and a lot of that is based on his experience in the league. His ball handling skills are better than Redd's and he has really become a great defensive guard along side KG. Redd likes to give up on his man and head back for the fast break. I give the edge to Ray because of his experience and the big ring. I love Redd, and I hope we can do some good things in Milwaukee this year.
