I grew up in east germany(socialism), found myself in a minefield--escaping from there--on my 21st birthday. Then I lived in west germany for ten years(also socialism), there is total control of every step you take. Total control, not worth living there.

In 1996 I finally moved to the USA, the catskill's in upstate NY. What can I say? This country has been better to me in the first 3 month's than germany has been in 31 years.

@zdkcampion Militias are not made to take on a military force.Militias are mainly a self defense force, used in conjunction with local National Guard or law enforcement. They are not made to go toe to toe with any army. But since you brought it up, Look how much success the Taliban have had. Or look at the Viet Cong. Militias can be a thorn in the side of any army. Not a deciding factor, but one that will cause a lot of worries.

We have the militia that was stated in the constitution, It's called the GUARD!! They are well regulated and trained by the state. You guys have it all wrong!! The only reason the government hasn't stepped on your dicks yet! Is because the second ammendment also allows citizens the right to bear arms. Any clown can buy cammies and a weapon. It takes a fit, smart person to join the real military!

My political beliefs are to the left, but the SMVM is a model for others to follow are far as the Militia movement. Just for the simple fact this dude has keep himself out of jail.(just my opinion as an outsider)
