@ArtemisFlyingV yeah, no one seems to ever remember blondie or ricky, but carl and the passions wouldn't hold the same place in my heart without having it some hold on dear brother on there.

This album is SOOOOoooo much better than the other one.

Wish you were here with us to be at the reunion of the boys!
We miss you, take care in heaven.

Brian was the brains, Dennis was the soul, Carl was the heart.

Really starting to appreciate Carl's role in the band--no Carl, no Beach Boys--simple as that.

@ArtemisFlyingV and David Marks: the forgotten one (tho he's back for the 2012 reunion). Carl, we miss you x

@HuntersMoon73 Carl's always been my favorite Beach Boy. All of them are talented, especially Brian, but Carl was far and away the best singer in the group, and he had a presence on stage...well, he wasn't the frontman like Mike, but he just radiated confident "cool". Best musician in the group, too. Love the song he wrote with Myrna Smith (another one of those special people has sadly left us).

Brian- The leader, genius and innovator, Mike- The showman (and douchebag), Dennis- the pretty face and late bloomer, Bruce- the background character, Al- the yessman, Blondie and Ricky- Never given the credit they truly deserved, and Carl...........the heart and the absolute best singer in the entire band. RIP Carl, you died on my second birthday. The world hasn't been the same since.................

Can someone please upload Carl Wilson - The Right Lane. From the same album, its amazing !
"Heaven" is my absolute favorite song of all the songs that I love. Carl Wilson had a quiet STRENGTH of keeping the Beach Boys together . His voice had a very wide range. In Good Vibrations Carl's falsetto was amazing when they toured. His songs that he wrote were great and so different from each other. Listen to "Feel Flows, "Long Promise Road, and the song "Like A Brother" found on the Wilson Beckly Lamm CD. Carl loved all people,no matter what their race was.
