  • What can one say, really, with music like this, so beautifully performed... Thanks for posting and thanks to YouTube for making this available to us all. Just wonderful.

  • I took part in this recording. It was a marathon in many ways. There were two groups of students, us from Boston U and another group, along with regular members, singing in Soulliac, France, soooo hot, and Mr Shaw was quite a task master. This piece alone is like a marathon where every footstep has to be silent. Then I heard the recording, and realised what a gift the whole experience had been.

  • Very good recording, just a touch slow for me...

  • we're going to perform this marvel with just a choir of 8 singers....

and yes its extremely beautiful plus extremely difficult, non chorists will never know what breath control is required ;)

still is a SUBLIME piece, a real marvel of modern music ;)

  • If I had heard this version first instead of the one I have with a boy soprano, I might have like this song much better the first time I heard it. This song first introduced me to the wonderful world of Arvo Part and my life will never be the same again.

  • It is a very difficult piece, I hope I'll have a chance to hear a perfect performance one day. This one is quite good, but still has quite a bit of glitches. Still, a good job!

  • This is the best version I've ever heard.

  • One of my favorites as well. I'm so glad to find it here!

  • Beautiful
