@shortnsuite3 This is really fascinating to me. And, I am not being polite!
Yeah, i'd like to know more about day to day living expenses and what you typical day is like living where you do, please. What's food cost? What does the light bill run you, the internet, eating out, going to clubs, or ... whatever you do to sustain your life therein.
THANKS so much for what I am asking in advance!

Tell us about rent, cost of food per week, utilities, and other expenses incurred in living in Japan.

Wow! Everything look pretty awesome! I'm glad you're safe and sound in Japan. Wish I was there with you but being worked to death kind of eats up time :P I can't wait to visit you at some point! Stay safe, I miss you alot, and enjoy Japan!
Love it. My first apartment in Japan had like, no furniture for the entire year that I lived there. I did EVERYTHING on the floor. Ate, pasokon'ed, slept, barfed on the floor.

@Ciaela I STILL do everything on the floor, but at least I have a table now. It's been requested that I do an updated walkthrough, so as soon as I can bring myself to tidy up, you'll be able to see all the (mostly free) furniture I've managed to obtain (some of it even legally).
Japanese laminate hardwood floors are great for barfing on imho.

love your apartment! esp the blue tiles in your kitchen.
which company do you work for? I used to work for NOVA and Interac. My husband and I are moving back to Japan and am looking for other eikaiwas besides the popular ones (ECC. AEON, etc) hope to hear fro you

@pinketto I'm a bad person and didn't even see this comment. XD Sorry! I work for a small ALT dispatch company (don't really want to disclose it), but it's not an eikaiwa. For eikaiwa work, I would check Gaijinpot. As far as I know it's the best online resource for jobs. Good luck!

Most people give tours that are too quick, too dimly lit, and not all that interesting. I mean, we don't get the gist of what it's like to LIVE in them, at all.
This tour is very well lit, and more illustrative than most.
I can't be-lieve that a family lives in this apt.
It's small for that.
But, nice for one person, certainly.
Tell us about expenses from day to day and what living in Japan really costs ... please? The little things are what matter to we foreigners.

@GimmeKitty That's a great idea! @Tokyocooney has made a great video about expenses of living in Tokyo, but that's like comparing living in NYC to anywhere else in the US. Give me another few months to really get my bills together and even, and I'll most certainly make a video about that.
Thank you for the compliment! Considering I lived in a closet before this, it's great! (My video "Home is where the Bruschetta is" will show you more about that silliness.)
