Global warming is a white-collar scame. I think Pier Corbyn have made that clear with his weather forecasting. He forecasted a wet sommer here, and it certainly has been.

corrections: causation has more or less been proved by the IRIS satellite which measured outgoing infrared radiation and found a decrease over time corresponding to the absorption bands of the greenhouse gases (otherwise the correlation could have been due to the decreased solubility of CO2 in the oceans).

Also it is naive to suggest that technological innovation will just occur without incentives (subsidies and taxes), there is no reason for the free market to stop using coal as it is cheap.
