Severed Hand FX Test

Wrist stump and blood pump FX test for Smash Cut. Lee Demarbre (the director) had asked to see how the effect would work before we got to set, so we did this test. The stump was for a larger male actor, so obviously it is too big for her. The blood is SUPPOSED to be over the top. Different blood mixes and amounts of pressure, and splits in the tube created different sprays. My garage ceiling will never be the same! Filmed April 2008.
